Would the footpath from the end of the platform ramp to road (presumeably) either be fenced and/or hedged? in. I would be inclined to paint the path more of a dark grey/black a cinder colour so the eye is not drawn to it.

Unless you've alread planned to do this over the next T-3 days - who's counting. :)

Just as a thought and it's easy looking from the outside in so to speak :).

If the goods yard is railway owned would they fence and gate it from their own property - unless it's a private siding - and the railway boundary fence follow the line of the wooden fence by the path to meet the road?

Nowt like a bit of pressure - Years ago I was up all hours of the night before a show finishing the installation of catenary on a Swiss layout....:eek: :rolleyes:. Finished as dawn was breaking and just managed a couple of hours kip - never to be repeated I hasten to add.

To be honest Dave I just followed the example of how the siding at Nanstallon was fenced and gated.

This is how it's ended up...

Still railway property but with the ability to close off the siding area from the road (when I put the gate back on) and the railway.

I think the crossing gates and wickets could do with a light dusting of grot to take the edge off the white., other than that looking great.

Morning Phil. It may not look like it but they are painted cream rather than white and already have muck applied. I didn't want to overdo it just yet and will wait until the scene is more complete before applying more but yes, still a bit bright.

Is post 1129 with the tools to prove you are not cheating with photos of a real place?;)
With onward of 70 years since by Hornby clockwork on the floor I still have not reached your standard but am still enjoying it.:)
As to the sheep, how about wandering down the road like 'lost' sheep.:(

Why does the Jethro joke about the theman walking down the road with a sheep under each arm come to mind.
