My little book gave me all the info for all angles of roof. Only ever had one problem with it, one apprentice could not multiply or divide by 10's and 100's. I nearly jumped off the scaffolding when he told me, if he wanted to be a mathematician he'd of stayed at school.

I had a similar issue with someone a while back that didn't know the difference between inches and cm and thought they were the same....

If you were really Welsh you'd live in Wales like Sheep Bloke. I can forgive Cornwall though. Nice down there.

(I've gone back and corrected my phone's auto-correct mis-correction)

Maybe he's older than he looks, the Anglo Saxons called Cornwall, West Wales.

We do a good line in exports. One thing that doesn't export well is the language. Anyone outside Wales really struggles. It's the main reason I called Sheep Dip, Sheep Dip. I did think about giving it a Welsh name
I thought of Little Sheep, Big Sheep..etc..etc......The main stumbling block was the Welsh for Sheep being Defaid. ( DEV-EYED ) I had visions of strangling the umpteenth visitor to an exhibition either demonstrating his prowess with Welsh or asking the question ' Why is the layout called Deaf Aid ? ' .........I could only resist the temptation to respond with 'What!' for so long before sarcasm would give way to a hard stare..........

I tried a welsh name when I rebuilt an earlier layout called The Field (part of Hockley Goods Station) into a new layout as part of a small colliery in Wales. It was called Y Cae. Lots of fun with the punters and the Welsh language police;).
