The ballast is hardly down and the weeds are taking over..........
Taking the oppotunity of easy, level and all round access to the trackwork before the buildings and details over the boundary fence start springing up has seen me gainfully employed this evening giving our carefully lain and ballasted track a less than cared for look!.
Still some way to go (not to mention another half of the layout to do) but you get the gist that this is to be an area where the line is definately in its autumn years..........
Mind for all it looks unkempt it is in no way as bad as the weed growth on our other layout Hospital Gates............ I am showing some degree of restraint this time I will have you know! (and using period shots of the prototype such as the one posted of Cannon Street earlier in the thread for reference).
