‘The first photo shows the private sidings on a lower level than the mainline, the platform is placed roughly where the station will be situated. Apologies reference the cat, Lulu likes to be in charge !

What you have seen up to now and in my pass posts are as far as it goes scenic wise at the present, so until I get some more point motors fitted and ballast laid, that's it ....

I can fit a few more wagons into that train length to fit in the goods loop, but I've had double the length of the train in the video running, but it doesn't look prototypical for a quiet branch line, .

That's very kind of you to say. Regarding the ballast I have used Woodland Scenics Grey and I mix a bottle of course with a bottle of medium, then once it's all glued down I give it a slight waft of Vallejo acrylic Dark Earth through the airbrush to tone down the overall grey colour of the ballast.

Good morning Dave,

Great to see you have moved over and joined the rest of us merry men, I'm sure any posts you put up will be gratefully received by us lot, and loads of photos is the order of the day.

My backs aching something terrible this morning as I knew it would, I completed a job that I had been putting off for ages yesterday, I finally installed the last 6 tortoise motors... Well I have still got to wire them up .... At least then I can get the remaining trackwork ballasted, point rodding installed, etc, etc......

Just be careful about where you wander and how far... if you get too close to the back row of the class then that is Jordan territory (@Jordan) and to escape from Jordan's comedy ways then you are going to need Tiffin as payment .

[BTW - I have found the D14 sides which show the error in the beading - the bead is missing from the centre of the curved piece in the waist and eaves panel on the compartment piece which abuts the guard's lookout. At a guess, the additional pieces are about 1.5mm tall and about 0.7mm wide.]

Im afraid my D14 will have to live with the error, there’s no way I’m going to repaint the sides, it took long enough the first time
