Now the nights are drawing in, as we say down here in this part of the country, I can finally make a start on the part of the hobby I really enjoy. But please do not hold your breath for an update soon, as I'm now self employed and busier than I have ever been.

I have just finished building this little coal merchants hut over the Christmas period, and very enjoyable it was too. This ones from the Intentio range of kits, keep up the good work Phil.

Evening Dan,

Well I would be most honoured if that were ever to happen, but there is still so much to do. People must be getting fed up with seeing the same view all the time, it's the only bit of the layout that is partially finished, there's still a load more greenery and trees to add yet. And as for the rest of the layout, it still needs ballasting, pointmotors, etc. Still I'm enjoying the journey.

What pedigree are the bolsters Martyn?

The bolsters are all from Connoisseur models, I prefer to build brass/ nickel silver kits rather than plastic, but sometimes needs must..

on a whim, I bought a Skytrex one, quite pleased with it. Not as nice, but much quicker!
