We use several Anycubic printers but have just added an Elegoo Saturn 4 and are using craftsman resin and ABS for the running gear.

Thanks John

Begs another question I assume you using Anycubic DLP Craftsman resin. I am interesting in why you do not print it all in ABS like resins, what are the benefits for the body using Craftsman resin.?

Thanks

Ian it is simply down to the quality of finish and detail that we can get. The ABS gives a little more flexibility for axleguards.

Its been a busy spell at Scottish Wagon Works and we recently updates our subscribers on progress with three big projects that are ongoing.

I can add a little bit more information.

Our programme is now;
HR Brake Van - Next week - Photos of the kit, write instructions for it, pack and post. We are hopeful of getting the pre-orders out before the end of September.

GCR Wagons - On the Fish Truck, we received more information from the GCR society (much appreciated) and have now have redrawn the brakes and are adding the underside detail, vacuum cylinder etc. This detail is additional and is about to be printed. It has through put us out of sequence so this kit will be another couple of weeks in development.

The dropside wagon - Again we have made changes to the brakes but these are now ready for a final test before a production run. We are looking to have these at the start of October.

These wagons will be available in a limited number batch but there will be plenty notice and details are on the website.

Finally for now - the GNoSR coaches. The first of these and our trials are the Diagram 50 Third Class. This is the result of the second test print and we are rather pleased with it.

We have now moved on to the detail parts and fitting. As these are reasonably common to the other diagrams we won't have to do this stage six times. We are now quite optimistic about getting the D50 out before the end of the year.

Again - details and contact info on the website but I am happy to answer questions here as well.

Regards

John
What scales are you planning to offer for the coaches and new wagons?

Thank you.
