Signal Box
Although modelled on the signal box at Highley, Severn Valley Railway, this box was designed by the private signalling firm Mackenzie and Holland, making it suitable for many areas of the country. The Ratio Signal Box Interior kit 553 will provide a wealth of interior detail. Supplied with...peco-uk.com
Mostly scratchbuilt, with MSE witemetal frames and Evergreen strip for the insides. If I may - what's the source of the standard gauge crossing gates in #793?
Chris H
As Chris says, Larry, it's a Ratio (4mm) top with scratchbuilt stone base (Wills sheets) and replacement etched windows from Churchward. What is the source of the (00 or 0?) green & cream box in post #800 please?
Of course, but it was painted last week!Tim, that white paint looks very clean, every railway shed or workshop and plenty of non railway workshops that I have are pretty mucky, even ones that have had recent paint job get grubby within around a fortnight.
I had begun to assume it was not a kit - thank you for the clarification!Mostly scratchbuilt, with MSE witemetal frames and Evergreen strip for the insides.

Indeed. It was only painted by BR to increase the costs side of the balance sheet, as a prelude to closure!Should be grubby by next week, then.
I'll do better than that, old chap, seeings as how you're such a splendid fellow, I'll move it to a completely different part of the layout...Could you just reverse the loco about 1" on the layout please?
...there you go....
