It's coming along nicely Rob. The 260mm depth is quite a lot better than the 220mm I'm used to with the SMS RUB fitting layouts.
......although with lower back scenes it might well fit side ways.....thinks....

Morning, Chris.

Thanks. The very first scribbled plan was that this would have a lower backscene with lighting provided by clipped on lights, quite a departure from my more recent builds.

However, a fully boxed in approach makes for a better protected job. It will probably never happen, but I still reckon this could travel to a show on the back of the Triumph which would be a bit of a hoot. ( I've carried bigger and heavier items as luggage. Not including pillion passengers I hasten to add )

For reference, the back and sides are 30cm tall so stand 24cm above the 'board' level.

silly loads on bikes.... India is the place.

Our housekeeper used to ride with his wife (sidesaddle of course) and three kids. My wife rode home on a pushbike with an ironing board. I recall a chap riding lying down, feet on the bars, head resting against the top box, crossing the Mumbai bridge at a steady 40~ish, and a Honda 150 with two lads and a goat going to the last supper. Well, the goat's last supper anyway...
