Yes, knocked and bent when the body rolls over and drops, bending the steps. Got that t-shirt.

Thanks Phil, I agree, indeed, I’d guess it would easily handle four more, though I could imagine that might warm it up a bit!

in any case, it will more than cover Chris’ needs, so I think I can now fit the remaining parts, and the decoder.

The video didn’t show it, but not effortlessly, it was working rather harder than I liked!

still, I’m pleased with it.

The motor-gearbox is excellent, and I’m delighted with how the chassis has worked out.
The haulage power? Let’s just remember how heavy it is!

They prototypically hauled full length passenger trains through the streets of Weymouth when the Channel Islands ferries left from the harbour. I have the proof, taken on 30th August 1961. I now leave to go fishing just a bit further along the same road.
