well, here we are 21 months 'down the line' and I have at last resolved the directional lighting conundrum and can say that I have now finished 121034


lightly weathering

over locally sourced celly rattle can matched to Railmatch

logo transfers from HMRS

as is the lining

all other transfers from Railtec

destination boards via Microsoft Word with Costa stirrer framing
!
the prototype is now fitted with LED lights so the brightness is probably ok - digital photography does not like red LEDs

Who's paint and what colour did you use please?

many thanks for your comment.

The paint is a locally sourced cellulose aerosol 'matched' to Railmatch BR Diesel Green, which I think is Deep Bronze.

I should have also mentioned that I used a Zimo MX645 decoder and this is connected to a 'YouChoos' speaker, all located in the Guards compartment.
