Sorry David Suitably admonished and corrections done
At least I didn't get lines to do as well
We don't give lines to customers! - instead you get lots of small parts to assemble!
I have been looking for decent 'scissors' to remove all the tiny etched pieces from the dogfish fret. (The cutters I have been using are now consigned to the bin)I was going to invest in a top end pair of Xuron scissors. However, I was informed that perhaps embroidery scissors are useful?
This question came up maybe two years back... with some recommendations. Sorry, I do not remember the topic within which the subject was discussed, I recollect that Dave Parkins had something to say on the subject as did several other WTers. Hopefully Daifly shall be along soon and provide a link.I have been looking for decent 'scissors' to remove all the tiny etched pieces from the dogfish fret.
Thanks David.http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fiskars-240...e=UTF8&qid=1451914365&sr=8-4&keywords=fiskars
These are what I use. You can cut through the tags, hard up against the edge of the part - and little or no further cleaning up is required.
Good luck with getting them back inside againThanks David.
I have tracked the Fiskar variety down to Hobbycraft, which is 1/2 mile down the road.
I checked the boss's embroidery scissors and although made by Fiskars are labelled 'Wilkinson Sword' as well.
Just snuck said scissors out to the workshop/garage/pit (as called by domestic authorities ) had a go on some spare etch and I can confirm they work perfectly.
Thanks for the recommendation
I'm afraid I had to come clean.....I tried a nickle silver etch and lost the last 2mm of one leg of her scissorsGood luck with getting them back inside again

Me too, and I would definitely buy more should I ever need them.I bought a pair of the Fiskar embroidery scissors that David Parkins recommended and have been very pleased with them.
Dave
Just bought a pair of Fiskar ones the way home and good I did. Waiting for me at home was a set of David's finest BR1 bogies
You weren't wrong David, those etches are packed with so many small pieces. This is going to be quite a challenge, but looking forward to it
