I half expected an answer of a secret underground layout storage and modelling bunker somewhere north of the Humber, but farther south than Scarborough!
Stunning layout, been following along with this thread since the Covid era when things had just started. Amazing detail and a credit to all involved.

Apart from a damning Tripadvisor review of the HU9 club, why?
The club does appear to have some “features” of The Empress and Stairways which were regular Friday night venues some 45 years ago.
(obviously, I had to look…)

Although it was our intention that they layout will make regular appearances at shows starting from next year (its first show of 2026 will be in the delightful seaside town of Immingham!
)
However we have accepted the kind invite to support a local one day small charity fundraising show on 8th November this year in Hutton Cranswick near Driffield in East Yorkshire,
The show is, I kid you not held in a car showroom!
So if you are local and fancy seeing the layout come and see us and support the charity the show is held in aid of.

Recent updates have concentrated on the last items of stock for the layout. However, we are also working on various scenic bits and pieces which will go into the detailing of the left hand end if the scenic area.
Such as this well used roadster!
1/43 scale Austin J40 pedal car which was created from a well detailed 3d print.
Comes in a big enough box for it too....

Well to my surprise the kit is coming together.
Not sure I will include the full interior detail and removable roof (the only way you could see said interior detail) though. This is intended to be a working layout item of stock and not a display cabinet showpiece
