Not much to report of late regarding the layout. But stock is being finished off on various workbenches.

The locos under construction for the layout have also been brought together to test the new fiddleyard. Thinking we need to add a split box Dairycoates 37 too though.

I can see a lot of weathering ahead....
After the industrial/light railway schemes we have built it will certainly be different shunting with locos with more than 4 or 6 wheels....

The trains will be more than 3 wagons on this one, too.

Yup. As with the B1 they will depict Hull allocatated locomotives as they were in the last 6 months of use in the area.

Time for a brief update as its been a while.

There are a quite a few details still to create to complete this scene at the level crossing end. But it was nice to be able to try the newly completed signal box in its intended site on the layout for the first time.

Well, at least this one didn't need a full interior detail creating for it aswell....

The Signal box looks magnificent I’ve never seen one boarded up on a model before, I have actually boarded
up a real one for V/Line a few years back and passing it at Christmas time I noticed someone has replaced my boarding with corrugated iron.
