Hi Phil, i always use modelstrip. This is simply because it doesnt affect the plastic and seeing as i model a lot in plastic as opposed to brass.

Not sure I really want to show my embarrassing painting efforts. I've used brake fluid today after testing on some plastic spures without damage. I will post a picture later.Pictures Phil
