7mm Aneurin Bridge ( St Stephen’s General station )

More building bodging today, the Water tower, built in typical GWR coaling stage fashion but without coaling facilities. The thick black line on the wall above the water tower is the height of the Tenements.
I had the foot print and scaled it from the brick courses. It's making the area around the turntable cramped like the prototype.

Steve - Do you know about a film called "The Last Journey"?

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00...st+journey&dpPl=1&dpID=51Wck04Q1yL&ref=plSrch

It's about an engine driver on the brink of retirement, who seems to think his fireman is messing about with his wife and decides his last journey before retiring, should also be the last journey for his fireman and all the passengers on the train!

Made around 1936, there are various scenes of Ranelagh Bridge and I seem to recall the driver lives in one of the flats overlooking the loco depot!

Great shots on the last journey just wondering how they changed castle to star then back to castle then star again then finally back to castle at the turntable

Nice Castle!....oh, sorry, was I supposed to be looking at the track :)

Both looking very nice  not sure about the 'pink' brush in the background though, I hope you have coordinating marigolds ;)

I have to confess the single chimney Castle with Hawksworth tender is as handsome a 4-6-0 as you can get, not as handsome as a Jubilee or rebuilt Patriot in my eyes, but, respectfully handsome none the less.
