Thank you for all the kind comments and likes which are very motivating.
Thank you Simon but in fairness the layout wasn't in a finished state at the time and I would have struggled to complete it as my unexpected and protracted house move really put a spanner in the modelling works.
But there's a silver lining in that without the pressure of a deadline I've been able to experiment a lot more, especially with the Arduino control which has turned into something much more sophisticated than I'd imagined (more details to follow.) Arduino was new to me when I started work on the layout - Arduino has so many features/facets and hence possibilities that even now are only dawning on me.
