The latest item off of my weathering workbench is this David Andrews kit built GCR L1.

Superb Neal! The motion and wheels look so realistic as does the tender and the small bits of coal that have spilt out, it all adds up to a very realistic model.

It’s a real joy to work on such a superb model. Can be challenging also!

This is a bit of a ‘blast from the past’ in that it got rather forgotten re posting it as a finished job - probably from two years ago now!

Sublime, it looks so real! Lysander doesn't look weathered until you look closer and then there's traces of dust, dirt, grease etc. It looks like the loco is working but obviously cared for.
