That Y4 is almost enough to make me want to become a Great Eastern modeller.

Almost enough....? What would it take you to fully convert?
I suspect not very much, George - packing up for the house move has shone a bright light on the wide variety of half-baked schemes that my butterfly modelling psyche flits between, and it needs little temptation to try another. I'm always tempted when I come across less popular pre-grouping and light railway subjects but fortunately there isn't a feasible excuse to mix the Furness, North London and Garstang and Knott End...

Seriously though, I do suffer very badly from project inertia and the while I'm a lifelong but sadly unproductive narrow gauge modeller the recent growth in pre-grouping and industrial OO RTR models has made me start to think seriously about something in OO or EM that might actually allow me to get a small something running and relatively finished.

Sadly the camera bleached the building slightly so you can't see as well the detailed subtle weathering I've done on the planks... All the more reason why you should come to expo EM. Is very

It's now not long to go. And reality has hit that I will be leaving to drive down there this about this time five weeks from now.... Yikes
