Depends what you mean by usable. For me the minimum usable terminus is Cyril Freezer's Minories, to paraphrase, it's got (colour) lights, coaches, action!

Morning all.

A second diminutive canine has been acquired for the Lambston branch.

These little chaps are quite jolly in their own little way and scamper about the place.

I think the key to Lambston is keeping things small and proportionate. This is also the challenge it presents in order to avoid a somewhat contrived look.

Game on I say....

I was going to ask if you found a copy of the W&U book but I suspect the recent influx of Rooters probably renders the question redundant.
The Abbey Road and Barton Bendish is about the smallest terminus I have found that works, 5' 6" by 15" in 7mm.

Hi Rob.

Nope, I didn't but if a copy comes up I will get it and add to the library.

And you are correct. The Terrier situation arises from the ashes.

As I have said I think a workable terminus is possible in 4ft without it looking too much like a cliché.

Evening all.

Not a great deal going on at present though I 'm hoping to start on Lambston quite soon.

To minimise cost, Lambston will use the same fiddle yard and fascia as Bleat Wharf so I think the build will be fairly quick.

I shall of course update on a regular basis.

Finished for April I trust.
