Captain Kernow
Western Thunderer
The 16XX is an abomination. Hopefully their subsequent models will be easier to convert...
Ooh, hard sums!! My brain hurts. They look very nice indeed. Ewe is obviously the natural habitat for them.
I have the need for a cabbed one but 119% bigger though
Yes, when I call it an 'abomination', I'm thinking about the ability to convert it to P4. You cannot just remove the chassis from the body, like you can with many other models, all parts are integrated with each other.A 16xx was the last Pannier I saw in BR traffic, so I had a soft spot for the class, however, the model did not capture the look of these engines. The clunky wheels didn't help.
I've got a Westward pannier, Larry, but it's a 54XX.Yes, I liked the look of your NuCast 16xx. Wasn't it originally by my old pal Brian Brown at Westward Models...
Two stunning photographs.
Two stunning photographs.
Lovely shots, Rob. Where did you get the ladder from, please?
Nice trees Rob. Where did you get them, please?
You can't fool us Rob. Photoshopping tension lock couplers onto a photo of real engines - it's just not cricket, y'know....Thanks Oz.
It's just getting a feel for how it will look when I do it properly. Needs to be a bit more dense I think but shows promise methinks.
