Something a Little Different

Dog Star

Simon,

What is the origin of the figure? I ask because the stance, clothes, appearance are just so for our Scruft's layout.

Thank you, Graham

Terry,
obviously plasticard for the side bits (a Civil engineer will be along shortly to correct bridge nomenclature). The bridge is a 3D print from the Saturn. The steel wires are steel wires of 28Swg. The Saturn can print holes of that size if the depth is shallow. I did clear them all through with a drill bit as it would be dim to break the print by forcing the wire through. The bridge is printed one piece with a 1mm plasticard deck - a thin arge flat plate spells fail in printing unless it is printed normal to the build plate.

... in any case, too scruffy for a GW footplate :D
Whilst I might agree with Tony's observation... three of the eight "4 foot" baseboards of Scruft's Junction are dedicated to Kidwell's colliery and the figure in the OP is just right for standing around in the colliery yard.

Rgds, Graham
