My sincere condolances. David was always a pleasure to talk to and always very helpful.

His contribution to the hobby and finscale modelling is immense. Building the kits designed by him was always an absolute pleasure, being so accurately designed, they pushed and extended my skills.

Yes very sad news.
Dave was a pioneer of modern image when there was nothing else around and his contribution to the hobby can't be underestimated.
