I believe, that a few of us on here have had a bust up with RMweb at one time or another, even pre-Warners.

And to a lesser degree falling foul unknowingly of some rules on this site.

What I do find strange on RMweb is that Mozzer is always announcing new products, yet 247 not being listed on the small suppliers forum, perhaps it was the sheer volume of new items all in one go ?

I would like to think they are more guidelines which on very rare occasions need to be rigidly enforced. :)

and that I would suggest is a question for RMWeb to answer and not for speculation on WT.

So, back on topic - let's see those prints Marc!

I'm keen to see what can be printed in the smaller scale :)

Disagree not least because RMweb will not answer it if it is posted on there and I can see no reason why it shouldn't be asked on here.

Fine - the reason being is that we don't have an answer either and this forum is for modelling not speculation about other fora - whether RMWeb, GOG Guild, 7mm Soc etc. Feel free to discuss it with members on a private message but I don't want to have to start reviewing every post and trying to decide if constitutes defamation.
Rather depends whether you want an answer, or speculation.
With respect to other fora - prefer neither thank you.

I have been a little bit busy with the airbrush and the transfers over the last few weeks. This is the result so far.

I'm starting to realise why I was stopped promoting my range on the other place. It looks like one of the big box stacker is copying my entire range. Over the last few months my LBSCR brake van, LBSCR 5plk, GER 5plk, SECR/LBSCR 7plk, minks and gunpowder vans have already been done.
Coincidence?

It must be frustrating, and I can sympathise as there is a considerable amount of work in developing an accurate 3D model that prints well.

Unless they are somehow leveraging your research or 3D data, I don’t understand why anyone would produce a copy of a model that is already available - it needs the same work as any other model, and the market is inevitably limited by the presence of a competitor. But it’s a free world.

Perhaps you could react by advertising more and undercutting their prices? “Buy the original, not a copy”. It’s a sort of “porcupine approach” to marketing that suggests that you will try very hard to hurt their efforts if they tread on your toes?

Of course if you do “up the ante” they may also react. As I say, it’s a free world.

It happens, I had brought out my GER 5 plank wagon kit then a company called Pre Grouping Railways came out with the same thing... ;)
