microbore tube

Hi guys
Today I phoned Finney & Smith to order some microbore tube only to find that at present they will no longer be stocking it due to the increase in price from their supplier (double the price) and the sizes I require are out of stock .. So does anybody know of another supplier of this material

Pete,

Albion Alloys manufacture it (very good quality).  I get my stocks from the local Antics Modelshop in Bristol, they have a good website and can mail order to you.

It might also be worth trying Eileen's Emporium, but I don't know what they carry.

A third source is Hannants model shop'  I have got it from them in the past, but don't know what they carry now.

Thank you for the offer Cynric the size I needed was .6mm x .20mm but for the amount I need (about 3mm) I will try to drill it on my lathe as the I.D I require is .3mm ???.
And thank you steph for the supplier addresses just my luck that the Bristol shop has every size except the one I want but I have added them to my favorites for future use. At the moment with this fiddling and sourcing materials in 4mm scale 7mm seems very tempting.

I have .5 id x 1.2 od and .6 id x 1.2 od. if you hope to drill .3 in the lathe good luck!! highest rpm and lots of coolant
