A very poorly built GEM D21 photos in Black are as it arrived via ebay a cheap buy.
I have managed to source replacement parts for all those missing or very poorly made GEM castings.
Loco is now being painted. It will then have to wait until I can get a High Level Gearbox before the Loco chassis can be built. Sitting in old Hornby drivers to check internal spacing for the chassis (a much chopped about Comet D49 etch).

Secretly to myself I did question the shape of your large curved end handrails, Mick. But you're right - they do seem to have that odd kink in them in the photo, unlike any other ex-NER carriage I've seen.

Can anyone assist re photograph(s) the Roof layout of Vents and Lamps of a NER Dia 26 or Dia 150 Coach Lighting by the Electric powered version as below please .
As you can see from the photos D&S obviously didnt know at the time of the kits release either , there are no further details in either of the Coach instructions sheets .

Current progress of a D&S based NER Dia 18 Brake Third, the later version with a additional two windows in the Brake area of the Coach.

This one is using up spare parts from various sources, and at the moment the last coach I will be building . Nothing screwed down. F296C414-C549-49D3-86EF-29A04AF13375_4_5005_c.jpeg

D&S Sides and most of the underframe fittings.

MJT Fox Bogies GNR version, there is nothing else available in OO and their vacumn Brake gear
