Hello Stephen,

Kirton Tunnel - Just some tasters of the diorama you have constructed. It is great, even with some ominous looking clouds in the background. And to add to the Great Central theme, a 9Q leaving the tunnel on a mixed freight, with a 8D Jersey Lily heading northbound.

The loco’s are from Gladiator Kits. Warren Haywood painting both and building the 9Q (LNER B7).

The MS&L / GCR Signals, courtesy of Jon Fitness.

More pictures will follow in the coming weeks and when the weather allows.

Hi Steve,

Great modelling, I think it's the 1st time that I have seen a GW permanent speed restriction modelled, not that they were a particularly common sight.

I had that specially made by Jon Fitness with a Mick Davies 3D printed head. This part of the layout is heavily influenced and inspired by Dainton summit and most of the signaling reflects what was there except the tall bracket signal.

I collected the printed back drop for the KESR project today, next job is to get it mounted and the fascia fixed in place. It’s been a bit drawn out as I’ve been knee deep in house renovations since May, the end is finally in sight. Normal modelling services will resume after Christmas. IMG_0074.jpegIMG_0075.jpeg
The photo was taken by the customer and is local to the railway
