That reminds me of another couple of amusing short "stories".
The first was from an anthology of 100 Science Fiction Short stories compiled by Isaac Asimov.
The second slightly more technical - as a control law engineer - relevant to my day job, also having met John Doyle when looking into Mu-analysis - a highly technical research paper with a wonderfully short abstract.
