Man walks into a pub, sits at the bar and orders two beers. The Landlord looks at him and asks "two beers sir?", the man answers "yes please one for me and the other for my mate here", the landlord looks over the bar and see's a tiny little fella sitting on the stool, " sorry sir I didn't see him",
"That's alright" says the man "it happens all the time, he's only 12" tall but very talented ", the barman enquired "oh, in what way",
"Well he's a damn good pianist and I see you've got one in the corner there, do you mind if he plays " , "Be my guest, what kind of music does he play " the Landlord says.
"Oh he can play anything, from Chopin to Jerry Lee Lewis". Anyway, the pub fills up and everyone has a rip roaring time asking for requests of the 12" tall pianist.
At the end of the night as everyone was leaving the Landlord says to the man " That was superb your welcome back anytime, I'll give you free beer all night, you and your mate livened up the custom I must admit, but tell me where did you find him ?"
The man answered "Well bit of a long story but briefly I was feeling a bit down and decided to go for a walk on the beach, I stubbed my toe and tripped over, there in the sand was a bit of shiny metal, I pulled at it and out came an old oil lamp, as I was rubbing the sand off of it this bloody great Genie flew out and said " I'm the Genie of the lamp and you have released me, I grant you one wish and one wish only"
"Well I thought hard for what seemed like ages"......" Well come on man" asked the Landlord "what did you wish for"
The man said " I think the Genie must of been a trifle deaf 'cause I asked for a 12" Penis"

Do the hands go anti-clockwise or "normal"?
I guess if anti-clockwise the brain soon adapts, even if other conventional clocks are in the vicinity?

The hands go anti-clockwise, or perhaps counter-clockwise. A sweep second hand would give me a head start but to be honest my own brain has never adapted. I think the idea is, they force you to think but when you just want to know the time in a hurry they are a nuisance.

Used to see these in pubs when 'last orders' was called. It might still be but I can't stay out as late as that any more.
