Thanks for the good wishes Julian. Your mention of the DN&S is spot on as I spent the first 18 years of my life living in Newbury where the locos ranged from MSWJR 2-4-0s, Dean goods and Bulldogs on local services, to Kings, Castles and Stars on non-stop Paddington - West Country expresses.

I model in EM and am involved with Sarum Finescale's Chitterne which made its first appearance at the EMGS exhibition at Bracknell in May and was on show at last weekend's South Hants MRC exhibition at Portsmouth.
