Fusion 360, blocks.

Hi,

Do any of you Fusion users know if it's possible to produce blocks, like you can in 2d? Items like buffers and axle boxes, which are common to a lot rolling stock, in one form or another.

How I work is make each item, say a buffer or axle boxes as separate component's then you can copy and paste between projects.

That’s the approach I use in Solidworks.

The other way is to save each part as a separate file and then inser derive 'filename' that takes you to the drawing of the part where you can select it all to include in your new drawing or just whatever parts you want. They are then added as compnents if the whole or bodies if just a part of it is imported. Hope that helps
