Hi all. I've been restoring an old hand-built loco which has a tender fitted motor which drives through a flexible shaft to the loco. Unfortunately during the exercise I've damaged the motor and it's beyond my ability to fix. Basically a spring guide holding one of the brushes has lost its spring and I can't find a way to replace it. Wondering if anyone has any expertise on this sort of thing (or would even be willing to try and sort it for due consideration)? Pictures attached, one side is fine, the other isn't! When I hold the brush in manually the motor works fine, so I am hopeful this is fixable. Thanks for any thoughts!
