I don't know of any others. Comes from working in S, I suppose: one set of standards, no arguments, one group of happy modellers and non-modellers who simply like railway modelling to 1:64 scale.

Guys, posts from no.#24 onwards are not really adding to Ian's thread.
I think you mean post #21, but I doubt that Ian will object as he enjoys banter, which is (was?) one of the highlights of this place. I know it gets difficult as a forum increases in the number of users, but what I always liked about this place was the balance between acceptance of others' modelling outputs combined with a friendly lightheartedness which provide the essential counterweight to stop us taking ourselves too seriously.

Maybe we have reached the point where there are too many users for this tolerance to continue, and we can all go back to being po-faced and stop having fun?
