Back inside we recently fitted a "fence" to stop things falling off, deter leaning and present a picture frame effect.
We used EUROCELL (usual disclaimer) architrave about 7 quid for a 5 metre length of 95mm x 6.

Well a long time since I updated this! Basically next up is the lights project. To facilitate this I put a long length of bare copper single core cable under the gradient,
Then I wound 25 lengths of insulated 0.6 wire around it ,soldered them on and dropped them below the baseboard via drilled holes. Another length of wire is connected to a 12v supply + via dimmer switch. The common return is via the track. Team leader Clive will install lights in the buldings and drop wires down to connect up.

To conceal the wire I built a wall just shy of 9 feet long.
It's not finished yet but this is it so far.

The wall is all but finished. Project leader Clive is going to "breathe" on it re painting capping strips and weathering.

What looks like a diving board is where a flight of steps will be.
