A combination of visits to the Uckfield exhibition (where I had a good chat with Rob
@Flaxfield) and the Poole exhibition (where I had a good chat with Mike
@Quintus) then a trip to see Martin Finney’s magnificent Semley last weekend has spurred me into attempting some more scenery on Elmham Market. It hasn’t really made much progress recently and is getting cluttered up with tools and the like so yesterday and today I have been trying to make amends.
I have been working on the pasture between the railway cutting and the end of the council houses, then started to tackle the gardens around the houses. Still very much work in progress but hopefully the progress is evident. I have managed to plant the Modelu people I painted earlier in the year and, with some tight lens work (not great on a mobile phone!), a few scenarios can be created. I’m planning to make more progress tomorrow so the photos below are just the current state of play…
