Or... An MOK Autotank kit which the last loco build rerquired of me.
I won`t give a blow by blow account as it`s all been done before.
The chassis left the paint shed this week with a usual coating of Closterman black etch primer and blackened wheels and rods.
Mine is to represent a 1939 version with rear left bunker steps and hand rails and also with original push pull buffer beam fittings which did`nt incorporate the `hood` so commonly modelled.
It took a while to figure it all out pipe wise and I had to also `debunk` some of the footplate lamp iron positions as the kit favours forward positioned tool boxes whereas mine are central to the wheel splashers.
I also had to investigate the cab backplate pipe work omitting the `boiler top feed` stuff.
I`ve made the roof and smokebox/boiler section removable for now to aid the painting process but she`s in the paint shed waiting for me to decide the order of priming colour..... black or grey !!!
