Looks too nice to be a workbench. However it may be a WT first in that your workbench thread shows a workbench rather than the post-card sized section of it you're actually able to use.
I had a thought I'd shown mine when I rebuilt the front room workshop, but I am mistaken. Anyway, most of the time you can't see the bench for everything on it!
Steph, I have a cunning plan. It's called laminate worktop ;-) When I re-do the kitchen I'm going to take a length of that and put it on top, plus I have various mats and other material for working directly on. The black slab is a marble kitchen board from Tesco which will be for checking locomotive frames etc.
Heather, my friend Pete has suggested that it won't look like that for long, but I will be diligent in keeping it tidy and clutter free.
