As the client will be here tomorrow to collect his finished loco, I thought it about time I took some nice photos of this commission.















All things considered I think it turned out okay. As ever, there are bits I would do better if I had the chance to do it again. When it's been seen "in the flesh" over the past month or so, everyone has said complementary things about the model.

A very nice model Heather, I sometimes find that although I think I have finished a model, while it's still on my shelf awaiting collection (which could be a couple of weeks) I keep looking at it and still add to it, even letting them go feeling I haven't finished .

Beautifully done and the subtlety of the weathering is exquisite. Every time I look at it I see something else that I missed last viewing, the hallmark of a top notch model IMHO

Very nice but a bit clean. I remember the sqaulor of these loco's at Sunderland South Dock back in 1967. They were refugee's from Wakefield.
