BYA wagon construction coming on, should turn out to be a nice wagon - hoods sat on the chassis temporarily for the time being whislt the internal weights set.

Finished the spearhead fencing along the siding, needs to dry before I can spray it.

The first of my BYA wagons complete in primer, the bogies are being redesigned hence the no wheels at the moment.

Finally got round to applying plaster bandage to the raw polystyrene embankments, they’ll be painted brown then the usual static grass and brushes etc.
Hopefully it’ll create a bit of hide and seek with the Trains going by behind.

Unfortunately I’ve not got the skill to do that, it’s a 3D printed kit from SKOG designs very good it is as well a few compromises as you’d expect but all in all a very good representation of the real wagon,

ive got round to painting the plaster bandage covered embankments ready for scenic work at some point.

Some really positive movement on the layout this week, my first sound fitted 60 arrived back from Digitrains and I’m extremely pleased with it. I’ve managed to repair the transit damaged 60, so that’ll be off to Lincoln at some point as well.

The second half of my CDA china clay rake has arrived back from weathering, they looking fantastic and certainly give the 60 a test!

Also on the wagon front the remaining PCA tanks where collected from the shop today bringing up the rake to 9 with one to follow, that’ll do for the time being.

Resignalling works complete, after a minor hissy fit because I’d forgotten how to wire them into the servo board (I’ll put that down to being unwell at the moment) all working and signed back into use 1839hrs.

Still some shunt discs to install to allow shunt moves but all in all quite happy.

I like the half-relief terraced houses against the wall. Were these kits? I will need similar in due course, so it would be helpful to know the supplier (if there was one).

The houses are Intentio kits, they come as singles.

Albeit in 4mm, but Phil at Intentio cut a terrace of a dozen terraced houses and a chippie as one piece - and, as requested, all to the same hand for us recently. It saves the joins! but Phil
