Hi All, I now have a Finescale Brass GWR Collett Bk 3rd Coach of which Liz Marsden has made an excellent job of painting it.
But I then had to add the Glazing & Seating plus some Figures.
The glazing wasn't easy as some of the screws holding the corr. wall had to be drilled out.
So what to do about seating, I decided to have a go at producing my own. So first I drew a sample out in Inkscape which saves as an 2D SVG file.
This was then imported into Tinkercad where I was able to extrude it into 3D and alter the dimensions to suit the coach interior.
This was then printed out on my Voxlab Aquilia X2 on PLA +. So then I needed some figures, these came via Ebay and were ready painted and seated. Cost £15.68 for 50!
Only their faces are not painted.
There are 15 sets of different people with a mix of Men & Women in different poses.
The measurements of the seat as as follows. H 45mm W. 20mm L. 55mm.
