Shame Universal Hobbies don't yet do the appropriate County tractor in 1/43. You could always do a Larry and go 1/32.......

Some nice clay handling views here - bagged and bulk powder:

Many thanks for the link - some great examples in there…

Hi all,

Quick update as the layout had its debut at the Uckfield MRS a few weeks ago.

A very enjoyable weekend, received some great feedback and comments and all ran pretty smoothly so was very pleased.

A couple of take always included replacing the fiddleyard entry link roads with pcb sleepers (since undertaken) and trying to improve on the 3 link coupling methods (miniature magnets now sourced and steel links too)

Here‘s a few pictures of the layout at the show…the 37 made a few cameo appearances by special request ;)

A 37 completes any layout but then so does a 20 .

You can take a 37/4 anywhere and the track / scenery always looks good.... just like your dries do here.
Many thanks!

It was good to see the layout at Ucfield and have a chat with you..
Thanks Alan - you too. Your layout and B+W pics in the Gazette look fabulous!

Just finalising the paperwork but very pleased to announce that the layout will be making an appearance at the GOG Kempton Park show next year, 1st June 2024.

A few things on the to do list including finding a better method to couple/uncouple the three links

Just a quick update to say that Wenford Dries is appearing in Model Rail due out 9th May and also at the Kempton Park O gauge show on Saturday 1st June.

Chris Nevard took some fabulous pictures (as he did with Kyle) 9 years ago.

Do drop by and say hello if you are attending...

Funnily enough, I'm at Exmoor ( Minehead ) with EWE on the 1st June.

Was it really just over 6 months ago we were alongside each other at Uckfield, Pete ?

Good luck with the show!

And you, Pete. I enjoy Minehead. Nice show put on by nice people and a rather good run down the Somerset coast to get there.
I've still got a bit of admin to resolve from SWAG but then I can tentatively begin the admin for next year's Jolly Modellers Day Out.
