I must confess that this is an experiment. After months of problems in putting pictures up on WT, it finally seems that we have got it sussed!
These old b&w pictures were taken in the winter of 1984 and I have just 'mounted' two pages from my old album to see how they turned out. It occurred to me that some WT members may be interested in those days of electric traction in corporate blue. As I recall it was a good time for observers of the rail scene then. My apologies for the size - I cannot enlarge them I'm afraid - my age and technology are not readily mixed . Also apologies for the hand written captions ....... However, if they are of enough interest I can probably scrape up one or two more, if asked.
I lost the note of the numbers of this pair of 86's which are heading an up goods slowly in to the station area.
Another AM10 from Birmingham entering the station.
I hope some pleasure may be derived from these efforts - as one can imagine, the grey overcast weather was of little help to a very amateur photographer like me with a relatively simple camera.
Have a superb festive season, one and all,
Roger
