During the building of 6326 I was offered a kit, complete with all of the lost wax castings and wheels by a fellow WTer who had bought it from me in March 2016! Having accepted my offer, it was then a question of which loco and which era. Having re read my books I discovered that the first loco to be allocated to OOC for a trial period was in fact D6326, still in original plain green, so the answer was simple

The parcel arrived yesterday and the contents checked - all ok. So the first task will be to wash all of the resin castings to get rid of any release agent and the like and then rinse in warm water and dry - a task for tomorrow when we return from shopping. This afternoon was taken up with installing a sound decoder etc into a Sang Cheng Gauge 1 L&Y Pug 51230, which despite the larger size, it was still a shoehorn job at the end of the day but an enjoyable diversion. The number range is D6313 - 6333.
