As some people might have read I'm not going to kill off Menyons but it is being placed on the back burner as it's going to take a lot longer to build than the allotted time. Having bought all the baseboards I'm going to build something that can be finished with normal track and rolling stock.
So the foot print is 4ft by 18inches for the viewing area with 2ft but 18inches for the fiddle yard. On Sunday I picked up 3 A6 points to go with the A5 that I have had sat in the draw for some time.
The fiddle yard is on the left.
I'm going for a Light railway operated by one of the none Light railway companies. Here is where the problem comes. Location, where do is site it. As most people who know me know I run Pre-Grouping Railways so I have tons of choices on location.
Locations that are under consideration are
1) Cornwall (LSWR or GWR) St Breward (LSWR) or Trebogus (GWR)
2) Wales (Cambrian ) Caerbannog
3) Lake District (Furness/LNWR) Elterwater
I have lots of potential stock but no locos for any of them.
If anyone has any thoughts please comment
