Modern Image O Gauge Show 2023 Crewe Heritage Centre 25th & 26th March.

We are finally in a position to be able to advertise this years MIOG show at Crewe Heritage Centre. The following is still subject to change but is what we have confirmed so far. I will post any further updates as we have them. Its really shaping up to be a fantastic show again with a couple of new layouts and some which haven't been seen in public for some time!

All 7mm and all post 1968 Modern Image layouts and Traders. Please see full information HERE.

The Heritage Centre will be available to explore as last year and our friends at LSL will be bringing something 12":1' scale to inspect!

To be honest ECT should really be under Traders. Heljan/Peco and previously Dapol all haven't traded as such (maybe the odd second but that's it).

I see that, but my point is that at least 8 or 9 of those in the list of traders are actually manufacturers. I'm not in the list, but if I were I would class myself as a kit manufacturer first and formost.

None of which have raised any issues with how we have described them and this is the third show that most will have attended. I will drop you a PM as I was lead to believe you do not attend shows these days, but if you are interested we may still be able to sort something out.

A week today we'll be thinking about breaking down the show on the Sunday afternoon. All the hard work and prep will be just about over for another year! Looking forward to seeing lots of new and familiar faces.

Just a couple of updates:
West Hill Wagon Works have unfortunately had to pull out for this year, we hope to see them next year all being well.
Footplate Models of Kidderminster will now be at MIOG 2023 showcasing their 7mm Snow Ploughs amongst other things.

We have a card machine for catering, but we will still be cash on the door this year.

Hi all,

had an enjoyable morning at Crewe today with a couple of the lads from Wirral OGG.

Had a chat with the chap on the Heljan stand



the 58 looked really good and will dent a few bank balances



pointed out a couple of things with the inspection saloon, notably the lack of the droplight. A good point was that the roof is held on by multiple magnets along each side and gives good access for populating.


the 73 looked stunning and should be available later this year

and something 12":ft running outside, a ballast maintenance train top and tailed by Class 66 locos and

extremely long!

Now everything is back where it belongs I have had time to sit and look at the few photo's that I managed to take over the weekend. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event a success, especially the visitors over the two days.
