Loco Serviceing Cradle

Seeing as it's chucking it down here at Withercombe  , I thought I would knock up a loco servicing cradle mainly for cleaning all those dirty wheels which affect garden railway modellers . So rather than do my usual of balancing expensive loco's & stock on my knees while I service them  , I made this from junk lying around the garage in about an hour..........much safer

Good idea!! I have a small piece of 'U' section foam that holds 4mm locos nicely (my lad's stuff, y'know... ) and keep meaning to do something like this for my O scale locos.

Good idea Phill  Looks like we all gonna need one to keep changing/replacing our Heljan gears, I balanced mine on the foam in the box when I stripped it the other day but it was'nt ideal   Ross..
