Linking PM posts to other PM posts

I maybe wrong about this.... previous versions of the forum software allowed one message in a PM to include a link to another message in the same PM (using the same method as was offered for links between messages in the open forum... within a topic and between topics).


How can I achieve the same result in the current forum version?

Right-clicking the date (top left) on the message you want to link to, or press and hold on a phone or tablet, gives the option to copy it as a link. The rest is easy!

Or similarly with the "hash number" top right of each message.

For example #2 gets you to Dave's post above.

There isn’t a # on a PM! They’re only on forum posts. Graham’s problem was specific to PMs

Is there a way in which you can re-instate the #number for the WT-PM posts? I ask because my laptop has a non-functioning right click key.

The date on the lefthand side of any post and/or PM has the exact same URL link as the #number.
