It's actually Lisbon Dave, but it's an easy mistake to make as Lisbon trams crop up everywhere, there's even one in Birkenhead.

Hello from France on Europe Day, not sunny, not warm but my local station Mont-de-Marsan looks superb after its recent refurbishment

The image above reminds me of the characteristic SNCF bing bongs. Most autumns Mrs R and I set off for the sun by train; Spain, Portugal and the Mediterranean coast all mean travelling through France. Trying to find an example on youtube turned up this instrumental piece.

A Lisbon tram seems just the thing for the anniversary of the 1386 Treaty of Windsor between Portugal and England, the oldest diplomatic alliance still in force.

I did that with Mrs D in one of the vintage trams in Lisbon a few years ago. Very picturesque but I only took video and it'll be a pain (for me) to load it on to any accessible format.

Great memory though...
