Please note my former Tiscali account has been hacked and scam messages which claimed the person could not phone because of a sore throat and wishing to ask a question, have been published published to various people including one WT member. I there strongly advise that any messages apparently from me on a Tiscali account be immediately cancelled and binned. Thanks for understanding.

Happened to me years ago with a Hotmail account. After I'd tidied up the trouble it caused I closed it down & went elsewhere for email hosting.
Tiscali were taken over years ago by TalkTalk. We were with Tiscali at the time, never a problem until the very day TalkTalk took over operations, when it went downhill very rapidly indeed. I had a right game with their Customer Services too, trying to leave, as they were claiming I'd only just 'joined' & signed a 12 month contract with them!! Utter nonsense of course. But woe betide to this day any Sales person from TalkTalk trying to talk to me..!!

I had one of these last week purporting to be from someone I had an email conversation with many years ago, almost the same story - sore throat, wanting to ask question. It was binned.
