One of my favourite GWR engines, a Dean Goods. I am quite familiar with these locos having built versions in 7mm, G1 and 5in gauges. This is the basic structure.
The Dean Goods is almost complete just the backhead details to do. The tender is the smaller 2500-gallon version, I built two one for a friend who has a part-built engine, they took a while to do. The model is certainly look the part.
Fresh out of the paint shop, as there is only one example in preservation in Steam Museum at Swindon, we are more used to seeing these engines in B&W images. I think it looks as good in B&W.

The engine is R/C, 12V motor gearbox driving bevel gears to back axle. batteries and electrics are housed in the tender.
