How have you made and fitted the window bolections?

As you haven't included the obligatory 5p piece in the photos for scale I am guessing at something in the region of 3ft long?
There are shorter layouts around......

The model is made using a CNC milling machine with a 3mm cutter. The inner layer is 1.5mm styrene a 3mm gap for the glazing then 1mm for the outer layer and 0.75mm for the panelling. The bolections are cut as separate parts and inserted into the appropriate openings.

The trailer is 32in long

The Auto Trailer is finished, the chassis is made from 1mm steel sheet as are the bogies with 3D printed detail overlays. The buffer stocks are brass castings and the buffers are nickel.

The trailers were often paired with 417 class tank engines as the picture
